The cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley is illustrated by seven groups of monuments and buildings which display the full range of historic and artistic achievements for which the Kathmandu Valley is world famous. The seven include the Durbar Squares of Hanuman Dhoka (Kathmandu), Patan and Bhaktapur, the Buddhist stupas of Swayambhu and Bauddhanath, and the Hindu temples of Pashupati and Changu Narayan.
DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU
On arrival at Kathmandu you will be received by our representative then transferred to the hotel. Reach & check-in to the hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Kathmandu.
DAY 02: KATHMANDU VALLEY SIGHTSEEING

Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple)
The world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaityas built 2000 years ago is situated on a hillock about 77 meter above the level of Kathmandu valley. Visitors will also have a grand view of the valley from this spot.
Kathmandu Durbar Square
Kathmandu Durbar Square, with its old temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people. The kings of Nepal were crowned and solemnized here. Interesting sites sare Taleju temple, gigantic figure of Kalbhairav (the god of destruction), Basantapur Durbar, and Temple of Kumari (living goddess).

Pashupatinath Temple
Situated 5 kilometers east of Kathmandu city, Pashupatinath temple is one of the holiest Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple built in pagoda style has gilted roof and richly Carved silver doors. Visitors will be permitted to view the temple from the east bank of river Bagmati, entrance in the temple being strictly forbidden to all non Hindus. Pashupatinath is the center of annual pilgrimage on the day of Shivaratri which falls in the month of February/March. Behind the temples are the cremation grounds.
Bouddhanath Stupa
This Stupa situated 11km/7 miles from Kathmandu City is one of the biggest in the world of its kind. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. This Buddhist Stupa was built by King Man Deva at the advice of the goddess Mani Jogini. It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. The shrine is surrounded by houses of Lamas or Buddhist priests.
Day 03: KATHMANDU VALLEY SIGHTSEEING

Patan Durbar Square
Patan Durbar Square boasts of many famous sites and unique architecture. Krishna Mandir in this Square was built to honor an incarnation of Vishnu. One of the best examples of stone architecture in the world, scenes from Mahabharat, Asia's greatest mythological war, is carved on the temple's walls.
Home to traditional artists and sculptors, one can find more temples dedicated to Ganesh (the elephant-headed god), Shiva, Narsingha, Taleju, and others are located at Patan Durbar Square.
Narayanhiti Palace Museum
The Narayanhiti Palace opened as a museum from 26th February 2009, nine months after the abolition of monarchy. The museum was formally inaugurated by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Ministers, foreign delegates, lawmakers, government officers and other senior citizens attended the inauguration function.
A long line of curious visitors linned up eagerly outside the museum gates when it opened for the public on 27th Feb. Visitors formed long queues to get a look inside the museum that used to be the seat of King until nine months ago when the monarchy was abolished. Nineteen different blocks used by the former royal family, most of them named after the districts, including Tribhuvan Sadan where the 1st June 2001 palace massacre took place, are open for visitors. While parts of the museum are yet to be opened for visitors, the museum currently showcases the belongings of former kings and other royals who lived at the palace. The visitors also get to see the diamond-studded crown and the wardrobes of the former royals.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Bhaktapur is also known as “the city of Devotees”. It is located at a distance of 14 km east of the capital. The ancient city covers an area of four squares miles, which still retains the medieval charms and treats its visitors with many wonders of historical, cultural and artistic achievements. The historic city was the capital of Kathmandu Valley between the 14th and 16th centuries. Much of the town’s great architectures dates from the end of the 17th century during the rule of King Bhupatindra Malla before the valley were divided into three smaller kingdoms (Bhaktapur, Patan and Kathmandu)
Relax in the evening or take a walk in the Thamel area - one of the main attractions and markets in the Kathmandu city. Overnight stay will be at Kathmandu.
DAY 04: DEPART KATHMANDU
Breakfast at hotel and you will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight for onward journey.
